 High above sleepy Coral Bay on Bordeaux
Mountain sits Skyflower, named after the beautiful blue Plumbago,
which grows in profusion on the property. This newly completed two
bedroom/three bath home is in the West Indian style, with Great
House and bedrooms in separate buildings. The panoramic views from
all rooms are truly spectacular, overlooking the British Virgin
Islands, St. John’s beautiful East End, and Coral Bay. Skyflower
provides an enchanting Caribbean experience and the ultimate in
privacy for honeymooners, two couples, or a small family.
The great house provides dining and
entertaining spaces and a separate, two-story building houses the
two equal sized bedrooms and baths. 1500 square feet of deck unites
both buildings into one indoor/outdoor living space.
Aside from the magnificent view from every
window, the living room area is
comfortably furnished in wicker and
mahogany with an entertainment center housing Dish TV, CD/DVD, and
an enhanced sound system. High speed internet connection and
WI-FI
are provided for your convenience.
Enjoy our family antique dining table and
chairs if you chose to eat inside. Outside, the covered area on
the deck beckons dining “al fresco” in the breeze. Colorful china,
linens, and glassware complete your eating experience.
The kitchen is a fully equipped “cooks”
kitchen, with stainless appliances, marble countertops, quality
utensils, and good lighting.
At the end of the day, ease into the spa with
an icy drink, and enjoy the Caribbean breezes as the clouds turn
rosy in the setting sun. Unobstructed views from the expansive,
wraparound decks accommodate all degrees of sunbathing.
Separation of the bedrooms from the Great House
and from one another assures privacy and independence for all
guests. On the same level as the Great House the upper bedroom has
a king sized, hand-carved mahogany four poster bed and a comfortable
bathroom with a door to the private outdoor shower.
The downstairs bedroom with its adjoining
living room and kitchenette is accessed by an outside staircase and
a seventy foot mahogany deck. The bedroom is furnished with
mahogany twin beds which can be combined to make a king. A lovely
bathroom opens out to a tiled garden shower.
Beautiful beaches
are just 15 minutes away, and Coral Bay, with restaurants
and shops is a five minute drive down the fully paved mountain road.
